Joel Santana Braga Filho, director general of the Industry and Commerce of Goias, Brazil, recently led a delegation to visit Hebei to attend the 2024 China-Langfang International Economic and Trade Fair on June 16th.

During his visit, Filho granted an exclusive interview to the Great Wall International Communication Center, stating, "This year marks the 25th anniversary of the establishment of friendly relations between Goiás State and Hebei Province. I was entrusted by Governor Caiado to visit Hebei. Through participation in the fair and holding discussions with various departments and enterprises in Hebei, we aim to further advance our future cooperation."

Filho emphasized that Hebei has many advantages in textiles, pharmaceuticals, agriculture, and sustainable development, expressing his anticipation for more collaboration with Hebei enterprises in these areas. During this visit, the Brazil Central-Western Land Port Group plans to establish a representative office in Xiong'an New Area, further promoting trade between the two countries.

2024 marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Brazil. Filho remarked, "We sincerely invite Chinese companies interested in visiting and investing in Goiás State. We look forward to deepening our friendship and discussing the future together."
