Wu'an City, Handan, is an important steel production base in China, with steel capacity accounting for about one-tenth of Hebei Province's total. Beyond being a hub of steel output, the county-level city is advancing toward a modern industrial cluster through continuous consolidation, technological innovation, and green transformation—one where premium steel materials, equipment manufacturing, and the circular economy are integrated and mutually reinforcing.

In recent years, Wu'an has focused on high-end, green, and intelligent development, promoting the upgrading of the steel industry toward premium products.
