This is a newly launched expert interview series jointly produced by the Great Wall International Communication Center's Beijing base and the Hebei Provincial Office in Beijing. With a focus on Hebei's exemplary practices, a national perspective, and a global outlook, the program offers in-depth analysis of new trends, new pathways, and new developments emerging from Hebei.
The first episode spotlights the phenomenon of Hebei's cultural tourism boom. As the slogan “So close, so beautiful—weekends in Hebei” goes viral across the internet and becomes a new cross-regional travel tag, what is the communication value behind it? What lessons can be drawn from it internationally? We've invited Hui Ming, Deputy Director of the Cultural Research Center at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, to offer an in-depth interpretation from the Beijing base of the Great Wall International Communication Center.
